Baby’s Room | Gobi Desert paint color by Behr

White walls make me crabby, so I always get excited about paint colors.

Last year we decided on these Behr paint colors:

Our Paint Colors | Behr Paint

Harvest Brown is the main wall color all over the house

Gobi Desert is the ceiling color

Shortgrass Prairie is the wall color in the kitchen & dining room

Mississippi Mud is the accent color in the family room and formal living room

While we haven’t painted any bedrooms yet, we know Harvest Brown will be too dark for them. We decided Gobi Desert would be a good bedroom color. It’s not your typical light/creamy tan wall color, but it’s still not too dark (for us).

It’s also neutral enough that it will be easy to coordinate colors with it for a variety of looks over the years.

Starting with the ceiling, our baby’s room is making it’s transformation from the stark white, empty room into our baby’s bedroom!

Test squares:

After one coat of flat ceiling paint (yes, I know it’s dark in the room – there’s no lights in the room right now & the natural light was poor)
