Juicing: pineapple, green apple, ginger, carrot, celery

I felt like it was time to try some new ingredients and Chris brought home a pineapple from the Sunflower market, so I decided to start there as a base flavor.

Pineapple paired nicely with a green apple and ginger. Ginger helps clear out your sinuses and acts as an expectorant. So try that for seasonal allergies!

Please feel free to borrow from my library of juices. More to come this week as well. Kasia – if you have a good blender, you can chop your veggies/fruit, blend, add a little water to get the juicing going and strain the pulp. Juicing is great when you want to give your digestion a rest but still get nutrients.
