Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred | day 3

Today Little Dude & I were all over the place: barely home (dentist appointment, tax appointment, doctor appointment for the baby), so it would have been pretty easy to just flop on the couch, slide into the bathtub or crawl into bed early. But I didn’t. 🙂

I just finished day 3 of Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred.

I focused on my form and doing the exercises slowly and accurately. I was able to do this by pulling out Little Dude’s full-length mirror from his room and watching myself.

I learned that my jumping jacks, while they feel HUGE and exaggerated, are really quite pathetic looking. I’ll work on that. 😉

When I made a point to be more in-tuned with my body during the workout, I felt a little stronger than the first night… yup, just 3 short workouts later. 🙂 Cool huh.

I think I’ll be pretty sore tomorrow, so I am going to go to Walgreens at some point and pick up more Epsom salts. Love that stuff! I would rather take an Epsom salt bath than a Tylenol (if I’m sore).

Oh a side note, the “beginner” gal in the DVD has sick abs. Seriously. I am guessing that she eats like a saint, religiously does ab workouts, and *likely* wrote a check to get those abs.  Watching my flubber belly in the mirror, then glancing back at the TV, then back in the mirror was a BIG motivator.

ROFLOL! I don’t mean to laugh, but I am attempting the same workout and have “restarted” twice already because I was sore and just couldn’t hang. I feel your pain. Are you also combining the menu as well? Good Luck and would love to hear of your progress.

Hi Kelli – thanks! no, I’m not doing the meal plan since I’m still nursing the baby, but already eat really clean/healthy (in general).
Keep me posted on your progress! 🙂
