Day 5 of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred

Yesterday was a pretty busy day and I was ready to sack out in front of the TV. Being honest. 🙂

So I did… but I also got out the mini portable DVD player and did my Shred watching CSI Miami.

I went back to level 1 today because I need to get a new battery for the mini DVD player remote… so I couldn’t cue through to the 2nd level.  Going back to level 1, I really missed the level 2 moves. Yes, even after a day.

The *good news* is that I felt stronger! 🙂

I think Jillian mentions that days 5-7, you’ll start to feel better in comparison to day 1. So true!

On a personal note, without divulging too much detail, someone said I didn’t look “too pregnant sitting down” today.  🙁  I’m not expecting… I have a 7 month old!

From the beginning, I told myself “9 months up, 9 months down” for getting back into shape, but I do believe the last 6-8 weeks will be the toughest!

This statement was a little shattering to my already fragile self-image, even though it was a mistake and apologized for… but it did motivate me to throw some hard punches during last night’s workout circuit.

anyways, so ironic.. i started the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred about 2 weeks ago after i started using the Slendertone (slendertone.com) and a coworker recoemmned JM for my workout option. WOW does it kick butt. i moved on to level 2 after two times in level 1 because i wasnt sore enough and i literally JUST finished my one workout tonight and im laying here unable to move bc she beat the poo outta me lol! anyways shoot me an email if u want to discuss anything , and also pls checkout my blog!

GOOD LUCK! Here’s a tip..whenever i wanna stop an exercise i start yelling “I need to get rid of my pooch!” LOL!

I like the 9 months up, 9 months down idea. What got me jump started into going to the gym was that Baby K will be 1 year in 1 month and I will be 30 in 6 weeks (YIKES!!).
