I just wrapped up Day 8 of Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred workout… level 2.
I am starting to feel stronger but my jumping jacks are still totally lame because I don’t want to tweak my knees.
Tomorrow, I am going to get out the mini-trampoline and do tiny jumps on it with big “jumping-jacks arms” during the jumping jack portion – just to keep my heartrate up.
My weight is the same, my stomach looks thinner (at least I think) but when I measured it, it’s the same… maybe even a tad (like less than 1/4 inch) bigger. *bummer*
My arms definitely feel stronger and when I measured my biceps, they seem to be about .1 inch bigger. Um ya, I just quantified .1 of an inch as progress. lol
So far my greatest tool has been the mini-portable DVD player… because then I can do the workout anywhere, without excuses. 🙂
This afternoon, for example, I did the shred when Chris was playing PS3 Tron and Little Dude was playing in his exersaucer and on the floor.
So this entire week I have done the shred in the evening or afternoon – I would like to challenge myself to do it in the morning before breakfast this week… see if it helps me feel energized for the day!
