Erie Farmers Market in Old Town Erie, Colorado
Last weekend I had a booth at the Erie Town Fair for my wedding & portrait photography business, which is the same weekend the Erie Farmers Market opens. They stay open through October.
After watching the movie Food Inc. I made a pact to shop local & organic as often as possible. So I enjoy going to the Erie Farmers Market a couple times a month.
This was the first day for the farmers market, outside the Town Fair, so it wasn’t super busy.
Here’s what I found:
Dirty Work Soap… I wanted to get one of each thing they had, but needed to regroup and think about my top favorites and come back… seriously they all smell so lovely and I was totally impressed with the quality.
Dogs Dig ‘Em
(organic doggie treats)
Pastries sold by a sweet lady with an Italian accent…. Treiabella Italian Bakery
I didn’t see this booth’s owner… but I already ♥ homeopathic remedies.
Airbrush Tattoos (starting at just $2)
Marbles in the Garden Coffee Shop
Massage therapy… oh man, I could use about 4 hours of that.
That’s 5 pounds of fat, verses 5 pounds of muscle… ewww.
Personalized Golf Markers
Gourmet Angus Beef
(no hormones or steroids)
Royal Crest Milk…
Delicious bread from Styria Bakery… they need to make more White Tuscan bread because they run out so quickly!
Honey, Jam & Sauces…
Pumpkin Butter sounds pretty good, huh!
Doggie enjoying some milk
Where Miller Farms roasts chiles
some of their produce
Little Dude was more into his feet than the people this time…
Then he saw the dog drinking milk… 😉
