another Lara Bar recipe

I have been making my own lara bars for a few months now. While the original recipe is really good, it’s fun to experiment with different combos. Sometimes I like buying lara bars just to try out new favors that I may want to tackle myself.

Here is a new one that I really like:

1 cup golden raisins

1 cup dried cranberries

1 cup dates

2/3 cup unsalted peanuts

2/3 cup raw almonds

I’m able to get most of the ingredients ORGANIC at the Sunflower market.  It’s also healthier to get the nuts RAW instead of roasted – because it has more nutrients.
