Ready for another Bedtime Tip for an almost-toddler?

Today’s tip is:

run a bath

This is a no-brainer for me. What do *I* do when I want to relax? I draw a warm bath for myself!

I can’t help but think this might be thanks to my mom giving me a bath to help me relax as a baby and kid.

For Little Dude, I like to wash away all of the germs from the day (and dinner caked onto his face).

I think it’s no secret that lavender bath wash helps people (not just babies) relax.  We really like California Baby Shampoo & Bodywash – Calming. It’s organic and smells great!

taking a warm bath/shower before bed also helps cool your core temperature when you get out, which is a huge signal to your brain that it’s time for sleep. This is my personal favorite! Our childbirth educator suggests a bedtime routine that both mom and dad can do- not just relying on breastfeeding or something similar. I am loving these tips!
