Meal Planning for the MONTH of November

Confession: I spend too much at the grocery store. Food gets wasted in this house. I’m trying to do a better job of meal planning and using up what we already have in-stock.

SO, I decided to meal-plan dinners the entire month of November.  I thought about the types of protein we eat and came up with a pattern to follow: vegetarian, fish, chicken, beef, eggs, turkey.  I figure one day a week we could have leftovers, plan on a frozen pizza OR actually eat out (which is rare).

What about breakfast, lunch & snacks?  Even side dishes for dinner? I will have to tackle that another night.

Here’s what I came up with (you can obtain the recipes via my Pinterest board: Must Try Food):

November Dinners
1. Vegetarian: California Grilled Veggie Sandwich
2. Fish: Crispy Fish
3. Chicken: Lemon Dijon Wings
4. Beef: sloppy joes
5. Eggs: Caramelized Leek Quiche
6. Turkey: Kay’s Turkey Enchiladas

8. Vegetarian: Rocco’s mac & cheese

15. Vegetarian: Black Bean and Salsa Soup
16. Fish: Baked Dijon Salmon
17. Chicken: Grilled Chicken Salad with Seasonal Fruit
18. Beef: Jalapeno Steak
19. Eggs: Ricotta, Lemon, and Arugula (spinach) Quiche
20. Vegetarian: Artichoke Spinach Lasagna
21. Fish: Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

30. Fish: Fish Tacos
