We were pretty successful with sticking to the meal plan during the month of November. For the month of December my goal is to reduce the grocery bill WITHOUT downgrading the quality of food. I’d like to make some freezer meals that we can have in January as well as have less surplus that goes bad in the fridge. I hate that but don’t know what the solution is… going to the store more often than once a week adds 2-3 hours more of planning, driving, shopping, driving home, & unloading… not sure that’s where I want to go with it. Anyways, here is the meal plan: BREAKFAST: (rotate through these options)
- English muffin, egg & cheese sandwiches
- slow cooker oatmeal
- French Toast
- Eggs
- Breakfast Burritos (eggs, cheese, green chilies, tater tots)
- Protein Pancakes
- Protein shake
- Artichoke Egg Casserole
DINNERS:
- grilled fish & baked potatos
- chicken stir fry & brown rice
- beef & veggie kabobs
- turkey enchiladas
- Green Chile Spinach Quiche
- pizza
- leftovers or out
- fish tacos
- homemade chicken nuggets
- beef fajitas
- turkey pot pie
- Super mac & cheese
- cheesy quinoa cakes
- leftovers or out
- baked tilapia parmesan
- whole chicken (spinoff of this recipe)
- beef quesadilla casserole
- potato soup
- ravioli
- salmon cakes
- leftovers or out
- freezer chicken enchiladas
- beef goulosh
- Christmas Eve -grilled fish
- Christmas Day – steak
- turkey & avocado paninis
- whole wheat fettucini with homemade alfredo sauce
- leftover or out
- Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
- Tuna Panini
- Pho Soup
