Your Beautiful Purpose: by Susie Larson | personal book review

It’s been a couples months since I’ve read Your Beautiful Purpose: Discovering and Enjoying What God Can Do Through You by Susie Larson but I wanted time to let it all sink in and see how God changed my life/thinking since reading it.

I stumbled upon it from someone on Instagram (sorry, don’t recall who!) and thought it sounded very timely for entering into this new season of life being a stay-at-home mom (after owning my own photography business for seven years).

I borrowed this book from the library and found it hard to put down.  I’m sure the author intended for her readers to take it slowly, a week at a time if in a Bible Study group – but I basically read a chapter a day. It was very well-thought out, prayed over & executed by Susan Larson.

I enjoyed each topic she discussed (love, God’s timing, discernment, etc.) as a journey to find our own purpose in God’s will.

I felt better about the season of life I’m currently in after reading her book because she took the “there is a time for everything” from Ecclesiastes and really elaborated on how your life can be God-honoring any ALL of the seasons of life.

I gave it a 5/5 stars on Goodreads because I think it could change your life, if you are in the right frame of mind and open to letting God move in your life.  I feel like it did and will continue to in mine! 🙂

Just wanted to say thank you for reading my book. I’m humbled and blessed. May God continue to overwhelm you with His grace and use you in ways that make your knees weak and your heart smile. 🙂

Blessings in Christ to you, my sister!

Susie,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! I just shared your book title at our church women’s brunch this morning – the topic of the day was how we deal with change.
I really appreciate you stopping by!
Blessings,
Heather
