I have been crocheting on & off for 14 years. It’s been a source of comfort (keeping my hands busy) during times I’ve been stuck in bed (recovering from illness, surgery, or on bed-rest). It’s also great for keeping snacking to a minimum when I watch a movie on the couch.
My biggest project EVER was a KING-SIZED afghan I crocheted for my husband when we dated 12 years ago. It was his Valentine’s Day gift.
I remember hauling around my yarn and hook crocheting between college courses and 3 part time jobs. How on earth I cranked out that huge of a blanket in 3 weeks was nothing short of a God-thing.
Since then, I’ve decided I enjoy crocheting smaller projects like baby blankets and scarves. With two little boys to take care of, I haven’t tackled a larger blankets in several years. 🙂
I have a small inventory I keep listed on Etsy and since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and my first gift to my husband was crocheted, I thought it would be appropriate to host my own giveaway.
This giveway will run until 1 a.m. February 15th, 2014. Please follow the entry instructions below and SHARE this giveaway! 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day!
